We asked one of our trusted lender some questions to get to learn more about him and his business in his own words! Introducing Chayce Sutton of Guild Mortgage Inlanta:

What services do you provide?

Well, the simple answer is I provide home loans.  Any type of loan you can think of – conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, first time buyer loan, jumbo loans, and on, and on, and on.  But more than that, I provide the guidance and expertise to make a process that seems daunting, overwhelming, even impossible for so many people, into a smooth, stress free, and almost enjoyable experience.

What makes you stand out in your field?

For my customers, I think it’s that experience.  Basically every mortgage loan is going to require the same things from the customer.  But taking the time to explain things, being efficient and effective in your communication, and helping people feel comfortable with the process, can make the difference between a stressful, frustrating experience and one that runs smoothly from start to finish.  And for those times where things don’t go smoothly (try as we may, it does happen sometimes), having the knowledge and the creativity to be able to work through those issues and still manage to keep things on track.

For my realtor partners, it’s similar.  I provide the communication they look for to know where things stand, and what’s going on in a transaction.  I’m available for them and their clients, pretty much anytime.  They trust me to take great care of buyers, work to make sure they have that great experience and, of course, get to closing on time every time. 

Why do you enjoy your job?

Most of all I enjoy the opportunity to help guide people through one of the most important processes they’ll ever go through, and help them achieve a dream that almost every person has.  I also enjoy the problem solving aspects of my job.  I enjoy the process of figuring out how to make the pieces fit together, in order to get something done even when others think it can’t. 

What do you love to do in your free time?

Free time? What's that???

Joking of course!  I have three wonderful daughters, and they keep me very busy.  I enjoy getting outside whenever I can.  My family loves camping, and do several trips each year.  You can also find me at Fiserv Forum for every Marquette basketball game.
